La Granja District (Hometown)

Hello everyone, this semester began and the blog sessions with it. In this time, I'm going to tell you about my hometown.

I've always lived in La Granja district, in the south zone of Santiago. In the first picture, there is the landscape that I see every day when I take metro to go to university, La Granja Metro Station next to the highway, between suburbs of blocks and mountain range in the background.

Near to the municipality, there is Espacio Matta Cultural Centre, in which theatre concerts and play-acting are performed. Moreover, in this place is an artistic patrimony that gives the name to the centre: the mural of the commemoration of the first year of Salvador Allende government called "El primer gol del pueblo chileno" (The first goal of Chilean people) made by Roberto Matta and Brigada Ramona Parra (BRP). This artistic mural was hidden while military dictatorship, actually was covered with paint.

In the third picture is the Mirador Interactive Museum, a place dedicated to teaching to people of all ages issues related to arts and sciences. MIM tries to motivate people with this issues, knowing that for much people this is (and will be) the only one experience with science laboratories.

For arrive to Espacio Matta Cultural Centre, you have to take metro up to Santa Rosa Station and if you want to go to MIM, you need getting metro to Mirador Station and take 385 bus until you get bus stop in front of MIM.

Hello everyone, today I'm going to tell you about a country I would like to visit. In this moment I choose England, a classic. I've chosen England because of trivial reasons that I prefer don't question it, after all, that would be my holidays. In first place, England has a lot of notable places related to pop culture, mainly music and literature. The best concert ever (Post 2)

Hello dear readers, today I'm going to tell you about a great concert that I've gone. Although I remember every concerts with special affection, this concert stands above all. In 2016, Camila Moreno presented in Teatro La Cúpula (some like a mini Movistar Arena in Parque O'Higgins) with a anniversary concert for her awarded Mala Madre album and I went with my best friend Juan. This concert shows me a different kind of concert, where each song had a special version for the concert and it's noted that the band had made a great job preparing the tracklist. Like the teathre is small, all the locations were near to the stage, and Camila Moreno took in advantage this aspect and made a second stage in the middle of the space and the band played without amplification with all audience in a religious silence. Then, the madness got back, covers and new versions with invited artists and the concert became in a party, with some fans dancing on the stage. I'd never felt that...

About "Everyone should be vegetarian" (Post 3)

Hello mates, today I going to give my opinion about the topic "everyone should be vegetarian". First of all, you should know that I'm not (and I have not been) vegetarian (maybe in the future), and I think that this fact makes me question myself all I going to ponder now. Without further ado, back to the issue. I think that to be vegetarian is a challenge and an effort for have a consistent life with a political attitude, but I don't believe that works like a rule: without awareness about the animal abuse we are taking a vegetarianism as an empty axiom. Once you realize that human being (like specie) get profit from animal exploitation, your way of understand the world don't back to be same. In the same way, I think that to be vegetarian is a previous phase to be vegan, because if we want to abolish the human domination to be vegetarian is not enough, we need to change our material reproduction style.
