Gotta Get Up

Hello everyone, today I'm going to tell you about a country I would like to visit. In this moment I choose England, a classic. I've chosen England because of trivial reasons that I prefer don't question it, after all, that would be my holidays. In first place, England has a lot of notable places related to pop culture, mainly music and literature. I'd like to visit famous memorials of writers and musicians, like George Orwell and The Beatles (at least to know Abbey Road), even the King's Cross Station (in London) where there is a monument of Harry Potter. In second place, I think that England is the best country to practice and learning definitely my english speaking and listening skills. I imagine myself approaching people and just saying "hello" to trigger a conversation and after imitate to native expressions. Hello everyone, this semester began and the blog sessions with it. In this time, I'm going to tell you about my hometown. I've always lived in La Granja district, in the south zone of Santiago. In the first picture, there is the landscape that I see every day when I take metro to go to university, La Granja Metro Station next to the highway, between suburbs of blocks and mountain range in the background. La Granja Metro Station Near to the municipality, there is Espacio Matta Cultural Centre, in which theatre concerts and play-acting are performed. Moreover, in this place is an artistic patrimony that gives the name to the centre: the mural of the commemoration of the first year of Salvador Allende government called "El primer gol del pueblo chileno" (The first goal of Chilean people) made by Roberto Matta and Brigada Ramona Parra (BRP).
